I’ve always loved words. English is a beautiful, crazy, enormously rich language, and I hate to see it mistreated.
Based in the north of England, I’m a professional copyeditor and proofreader with a particular love of working with authors to produce great fiction. I also edit non-fiction, medical and commercial material, as you’ll see while browsing the site.
My academic background is in life sciences and medicine; I spent over twenty-five years working as a scientist in the National Health Service, so if you need obscure facts about genetics, I’m your woman.
But my heart belongs to writing, and I guarantee to put as much of it into yours as I do into mine.
